Excellent fajita salad, the best steak I've ever eaten for a fajita salad. If the look of the flour tortilla bowl is a big deal, you'll pass. But don't !

About 15 or 20 years ago this place was a great place to eat Mexican food. Not anymore in my book! It wasn't that is to say the least. My fiance and future mother in law and I are there last night. I had a taco salad and it was mostly covered in cheese and seasoning was over seasoned which left me up all night sick and up again this morning sick. My day is ruined. My fiance ordered shrimp queso dias and there was only pieces of shrimp in it. Mother in law got the cheese enchilada dinner. She didn't have any problem with her food. Never again!!

My test of a Mexican restaurant has always been to order Fajitas. If they come to the table sizzling im a happy camper. Let's just say in this case... there was no sizzle.

i have come to determine that it truly depends on what time of day and the day of the week that you place your order on what rating you will give to this location..... i haven't tried the dinner in experience so i have no input on that but the take is always correct as far as the order being all there and the packaging as requested the only thing is the amount of the serving sizes varies in quantity drastically we take out at least once a week sometimes twice a week get fajitas for 2 always excellent quality although great eating the meat serving size isn't consistent sometimes more often than not the meat only allows for 2 very thin fajitas as opposed to 3 decent fajitas. that's the only complaint for the restaurant that i have concluded so I never know if i should get fajitas for 2 or 3 in order for my family to be satisfied

I was not pleased with the taco lacabon. But the other with me enjoyed their food very much

Claims they do not deliver to Lake Livingstone Village when i see them delivering him all the time, more than enough to cover the delivery fee

Horrible food! The food is bad, hard, and tasteless. Maybe it's because I live in the city that this place seems really gross? All the food we got was so bad that we didn't finish it. The service is also very bad. The waitress was not friendly. The atmosphere is also very Cheap and dirty. I am glad I don't live near livingston so I never have to come here again.

The food had no seasoning on it. I had to add salt and pepper to taste. With all the Mexican food restaurants around. I would step up the quality. I had a Shrimp and spinach enchiladas. It had shrimp pieces. Not whole shrimp. Staff was very nice though.

I ate here last night for the first time in years! Because the last time I ate here my food was cold & soggy & I got food poisoning. I got the Texas Fajitas, my mom got the Chile Relleno, & my dad got a Steak. The ribs from the Texas fajitas tasted like they were cooked from a BBQ master, they were tender, smoked, with a little kick of spice. The fajitas tasted smoked not grilled. My mom said that was the best chili relleno she ever had. My dad said the steak also tasted smoked. We will be back again. That was delicious.

Have come here for years, but my last few visits were dishearteningly sub par. Very sub par. Prices have skyrocketed while quality and quantity have fallen off drastically. Cleanliness is questionable at best, we decided, as we watched the clearing process at the booth next to us after 2 adults with 2 small kids exited. After all these years, we've scratched it off our go-to list for good. There are way too many good, clean, more affordable and an all around far better Mexican restaurants in Livingston, just a block in either direction off 59. Tourist trap because of prime location. You are charged for chips and salsa unless you order a minimum amount, or number of entrees, as stated in menu. Their salsa certainly is not good enough to cause folks to flock there for chips and sauce only, then bail on food, so that hit me as tacky. It's all left a very bad taste in my mouth, something which no one wants on their night out. So long, old friend.

Food was alright it was more like a Tex-mex. The service can be worked on a little more. Over all I give the restaurant a 3/5 stars

Have been going to El Burrito for years. We always ask for Debbie or her daughter, Allison, to serve us. Lovely & very friendly ladies. But, everyone else is just as friendly. I especially like their Chicken Supreme and, for the first time, tried their new dish with a thin Crispy Fried Avocado filled w/queso and your choice of meat. Was delicious. Plenty left over to take home. Very family oriented Mexican Restaurant.

Sorry to say, the waitress was very nice but the food wasn't what I expected. And truthfully I don't plan to eat then again.

They always have good food.

Just ok. The food came very quickly but reminded me of the fake cheese covered junk that you like to eat when you're 13. If you're headed north, better just wait til you get to Lufkin and hit Herraduras, Cafe del Rio or Leon food truck.

This was second visit with bed food, both times was told sorry. Truly sad, they have lost my business at this location

Just moved to Livingston and this was our first time eating at El Burrito. We loved it, and now we know where to go when we're hungry for Mexican food.

This is my all time favorite places to eat. The food is wonderful and the service is always great . I love the nachos, but our favorite is the cheese enchiladas, oh my goodness! Great food and great atmosphere. Tell them I sent you .. ☺ happy eating...

Worst Mexican restaurant ever been too! Salsa was pretty much tomato paste! Food was over cooked!

Great food, wonderful flavor. A little pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, but not bad. The sunny-d margaritas area damn good. Do yourself a favor and have one.

I have been going here since I was young almost twice a week every week. Great food, great service, and great people! I go all around Texas eating Mexican food but el burrito is always a better restaurant in my opinion!
